Braves game

Hey y'all,

We were able to go to the Braves have on Sunday (10-10-10!).  It was so exciting to go to a post season game.  The stadium was packed.  The excitement was palpable.  We had decent seats, considering.  (We found out that we could have sold the tickets for more than $200 more than we paid for them!!)  The sun was a bit of a problem, but we (that is Michael and I) weren't complaining.  The kids were thrilled to go, but Colin asked if the game was over right after the first pitch!  They had a good time, but it was hot and the sun was shining directly in our faces.  The unfortunate part was, the Braves lost.  Given the chance, we would to it all over again.

We made it!

Colin was so excited.  He was loving wearing his McCann shirt and Braves hat!

So cute!

This is in "Scout's Alley."  The kids were able to "run the bases."

Colin made it!

Molly had to pose for me.  She was too fast to catch on camera! ;)

Ready for the game.

I love the giant flag.  They brought it out during the National Anthem.

It was a gorgeous night!!  This was right after the Braves took the lead.  Unfortunately, it didn't last long.

We were so thankful to be able to go and experience this.  It was worth the heat and sun.  It was worth toting around 40 lbs. of snacks and waters.  It was worth Colin asking every few minutes if it was 8:00.  (Michael told him it would probably be around 8:00 when the game was over.)  It really was a fun time!

Until next time...
