5 senses

Hey y'all,

This week has been all about little projects.  We are learning about our 5 senses.  It's been a really fun week, even though it's been a bit stressful for me.  It's hard for me to let go on some of the projects, and the noise making projects, well, let's just say, that one is strictly for outside use. :)  One day we made Kool-aid paintings.  They turned out really neat and it smelled really good in the kitchen!  We also make shakers, a.k.a. headache makers. Ugh!  We were able to talk about loud and soft with them though.  (I had to find the silver lining!)  We have more projects this week.  I will continue to share as I get pictures.  Enjoy!

They are pretty cool, huh?  We just sprinkled the kool-aid powder on the paper and then sprayed it with water.

We have had fun.  This is the part of homeschool that I LOVE!  I NEVER would have been able to do these kinds of things when I was teaching Kindergarten.  It's so great to be able to do them now.  These projects are incredible learning tools.

Until next time...
