Hey y'all,
October went out with a bang here. We went back to Reynold's Plantation. We, again, had a fabulous time. The kids love it! There is so much to do. Molly had a pajama party at school. Colin conquered an alligator. I got my hair cut... short! I went to a costume crop. And, the kids went to Trunk or Treat at church.

Playing tether ball at Reynold's Plantation.

Molly wasn't too happy with her s'more. She got the marshmallows a bit too done. She thought it was funny until she realized that didn't make them taste very good.

Colin sugared up after his s'more.

Someone was sleepy!

We had kids sized robes! They were so cute. This was right after we finished swimming. We went to the indoor pool. We almost did the outdoor - it's heated - but the sun was in hiding most of the day. We were afraid that it would be too chilly without the sunshine.

Hanging out on our balcony

In front of the hotel

We did some exploring around the hotel grounds this time. There is a long walking path that starts at the hotel and winds through the golf courses and beyond. We didn't get all that far, but it was a very pretty walk.

This was just begging for pictures!

I had a hard time getting a picture of Colin because he was so excited he wouldn't sit still! He loves waterfalls.

Hanging out after our walk. Someone is sleepy again tonight!! :)

This day, Molly dressed herself. (It's been a battle lately!!) Number one, the dress is too short. She is having trouble letting go of some of her favorite pieces of clothing lately. She is growing so fast though! This morning, she wore a dress to church that she has only worn one other time. It's too short! What's a mother to do? Number two, this outfit... the socks do match the dress, don't you know... the teeny snowflakes in the socks are blue and match the blue stripe in the dress. I guess she gets points for trying!

Welcome to Alabama. This is the common house spider. Yikes! I think I miss "Chuck." (The name my mom gave the
teeny brown house spiders in Ohio.) I like Chuck. I don't care too much for these behemoths! Note to mom: I am pretty sure this is the same type of spider I killed when I called you. However, I am pretty sure the one I saw was about twice as big! Scary! Just to give everyone a bit of reference, the rounded part at the bottom of the base board is about an inch. That's about the same size as the body of this thing! Not including legs!!

Molly in her new pj's. Last Friday, she had a pajama/pizza party at school. She was so excited about it! Unfortunately, she ended up being pretty hot! We have had cooler weather, so I got these. Friday, it was in the 80's. What to do?

Colin and I met some friends at the park. He conquered the alligator while we were there. He's so brave and strong!

I got my haircut Thursday night. I love it! It's very short, but I have received tons of compliments! (That's always good!) Here I am dressed for the costume crop at The Scrapbook Princess. I was a waitress. You can't see it, but I had my apron on with pens and a note pad in the pocket.

Mom, this one's for you... the back of my head... I told you it was short!

The Trunk or Treat at our church was a lot of fun. We Trick or Treated around the parking lot and then went inside for games. There were several inflatables. Here Molly played baseball.

At this point they were having technical difficulties. This particular inflatable was losing air, FAST! That didn't stop Colin. He just sat the ball on the air hole, like it was a tee and hit away!
October was fun. Now we are setting our sights on Thanksgiving and THE BEACH!! Woo-hoo!
Until next time...

LOVE the new cut!!
Did you get it lightened too? Looks nice. Especially for a waitress!
First of all, that the tether ball that wrapped around and hit me in the face attempting to give me a black eye... I had severe flashback when I saw it!
Second... Loving your new hair! Its so stacked in the back! LOVE IT!
