Play-doh day

Hey y'all,

I have been having severe sinus issues for a while now.  I tend to ignore it, because it is what I know.  I have always had sinus trouble, and I just deal with it.  Well, it got carried away this time.  I went to the doctor on Monday and left with a "cocktail" of drugs.  I had a prescription for 4 different drugs, plus orders to start back up on a sinus rinse.  Needless to say, after taking the initial round of drugs on Monday night, I felt like I had been hit by a train come Tuesday morning.  So, Tuesday became Play-doh Day.  We got out all of our play-doh, all the kits and all the tools.  The kids had a blast.  It was great for me because they were occupied and I was able to get a few things done at a slower, quieter pace.  I hope you enjoy the pictures.  I know they enjoyed the playing!!

Hard at work...

...creating masterpieces...

Molly is making all the parts to assemble her hamburger.

Colin is working on one delicious ice cream cone.

Molly made a hot dog.  I loved it.  She told me this is her "I hate it face."

Here is another (better) view of the hot dog... why would she hate it?  I thought it was great!!

I think she was much more pleased with her hamburger creation, don't you?

I will have to remember this little trick.  Though, hopefully my sinuses will never get this bad again.  We may begin having regular play-doh days.  They played for over an hour and a half!!  We only stopped because it was past lunch time.

Until next time...
