Hey y'all,
This past weekend we had visitors. Mom and Dad came down for Aunt Sophie's funeral. Though it was a sad occasion, I know I was rejoicing for her that she is with Jesus in heaven. I told several people that I was a bit jealous! What I mean by that is, I envision her and my Grandma Jones (sisters) running/ skipping towards each other for a wonderful reunion and having a big party with family and friends. How can you be sad when you think of that?
Thankfully, Mom and Dad we able to stay through the weekend. We had a wonderful time visiting and seeing family.

Friday evening, we went out to dinner. As we were leaving home, we saw a beautiful rainbow. I love Molly's reaction to seeing it. She is my daughter. (I am rather infatuated with rainbows.)

I told you it was beautiful! ;)

Here we have four generations of "Joneses." This is my Great-Aunt Eleanor, Dad, me and Molly and Colin. What a treat! I am so thankful that I know so much of my extended family.

This is Dad and Aunt Inez. She was showing mom and dad the scrapbook Kenneth made her for her 80th birthday. It was really nice!

Just a swingin' - Molly and Colin hanging out on Kenneth and Alicia's front porch.

Photo op -- Family photo time.

My family with Mom and Dad

Here, Keith is showing Molly and Colin a Daddy Long Legs. He asked the spider where the cows were and it pointed down the road. (It was apparently right!)

Sweet family

Molly "snuck" in to this picture of Dad with his cousins, Keith and Kenneth, and his Aunt Inez.
The weekend was quick and busy. Mom and Dad took off very early Sunday morning. I was thankful for the time we had and really had a great time.
Until next time...
