Making the best of it

Hey y'all,

My mom and dad got the kids a membership to the McWane Center for their birthdays.  Due to a lot of craziness, we didn't get to go right away.  We finally were planning to go.  We got ready and headed to the car only to realize that the kids' car seats were downtown in Michael's car.  We were all so disappointed.  Though Molly technically doesn't need a car seat any longer, I would have felt horrible if something had happened to either of them due to not having the seats.  So, we waited a day longer.  (The good news is that Michael was able to get us a coupon through the hospital to save us money on the membership!  So the waiting paid!!)  Of course, we were all disappointed, so we had to make the best of it.  

We went down to the lake to swing.

Colin is working on being able to swing all by himself.  He did really well this time!

After spending time down at the lake, we had a picnic in the living room and watched a movie.  We also played a few games.  We made the best of it and had a really great day!
