Molly finally made it to the dentist today. She had an appointment last summer at Dr. Nibert's office, but due to the move she couldn't go. She was pretty excited to finally get to go today. She was VERY good. The hygienist commented over and over on how mature she is at her age! I was very proud of her. She clammed up a little bit when Dr. Bettis came in, but overall she was relaxed and a great patient. We are proud to say that she is cavity free, her teeth are nicely spaced and there are no foreseeable problems. Phew!
I was pretty disappointed that I forgot to bring our camera. I mentioned this to the hygienist and she offered the office Polaroid as long as it had film. I was very thankful for the offer and even more thankful that it had film! The picture isn't that great. It was taken right at the end of the appointment. The hygienist gave Molly a mask and some gloves so she could play dentist at home and she is wearing the mask in the picture.
