Molly's 4th Birthday

Hey y'all,
There are quite a few pictures here, but it's not everyday a girl turns 4! We wish you could have been here for the party, but since you weren't here are some pictures from the day...

Molly got flowers from Grandpa McCann and from Daddy. She loved them both.

Here is my attempt at a butterfly cake. I had a VERY difficult time frosting it, but it turned out okay.

Molly had quite a lot of fun decorating her cake. She tended to decorate all in one spot, but to each her own...

LOTS of blue icing... (all in one spot!)

Modeling her cake

Posing with her presents

Another Imagination Movers CD. This girl is set on music! She loves music and singing along with it!

The treasure box! We put some jewelry in it too, to be the treasure.

Opening...

Goggles!! Ever since we went swimming in the hotel with "the Bruces" last fall, Molly has wanted her own swim goggles. I think she may be ready to go under! We shall see...

Glove and ball - she was so happy to have one of her own.

If she is this excited over clothes now, what am I in for during the teenage years? Ack!!

Sweeter than ice cream... so true!

Sidewalk chalk, chalk paint, stencils, and 3D glasses from Uncle Allen, Aunt Jill, Abigail, AJ and Rachael... Molly loves it! We have already tried the 3D glasses. It's pretty cool. Also, I need to brag a bit on Molly here... (Jill is good and sent two sets!) She immediately decided that she would use one set and Colin could use the other. I was so proud of her for sharing and told her so!

The magnifying glass from Grandma and Grandpa Jones; a huge hit! Actually, I think we all love it! :)

It works!! tee-hee

The best for last... Molly has been wanting this Dora doll since Christmas. We had trouble finding it, and when we did, decided it was not worth the money and hoped it would "blow over." No such luck on Molly forgetting about it... Anyway, we decided to get it because she wanted it so much she was telling anyone who asked that it was what she wanted. She was THRILLED!

Playing with the Dora doll.

A bit scary, don'tcha think?

Mother-daughter cakes

Making a wish, ready to blow out the candle....

The look says it all... Colin beat her to it!! Colin blew out the candle!

Colin cheering for himself! :) (This actually happened again!!)

This time Molly covered Colin's mouth...

And managed to blow it out herself!

Right before bed, Molly modeled her new pj's as well as a few new jewelry pieces.

The day was extremely hectic, (we went to church and had Molly's pictures taken at Target) but it was fun. Molly was satisfied anyway! :)

Until next time...
