So, it happened. We got snow in Alabama. And, it was nuttier than I expected! I was forced to leave my scrapbooking retreat 5 and a half hours early for 1, yes I said one, inch of snow! We were under a Winter Storm Warning. People were frantic. It was rather funny. I have to say though, I will take the panic, because I really like how they do snow down here! It was beautiful, but was gone in hours! I was happy to have a little snow because Colin got to play in it for the first time. He wasn't all that crazy about it, but I think that was because he refused to wear his gloves. (That and the face plant!) He came around though and even helped with our snowman. From what I gather, the panic is understandable because this was the first measurable snow fall in nine years! They just don't know what to do. Anyway, I hope you enjoy our pictures. Michael took pictures from the very beginning, and I took pictures as it was melting, so you can see it start to finish.

In like a lion...

The start of accumulation.
Snowing harder.
Colin checks out the snowfall.
Isn't it beautiful?
