Colin's Birthday

Hey y'all,
I thought this one would be a little shorter, but... :) I still can't believe that Colin is 2. We went to the doctor today. Dr. Walley said that Colin is doing very well. In fact, he is off, that would be completely off, the growth chart. He is 35.6 lbs and 37.25 inches!! Dr. Walley said he has the body of a three year old and that it is likely that he will be at least 6'2" and maybe even 6'4"!! At this rate, I could be looking up to Colin by the time he is 5! ;) Below are the pictures of Colin's cake and party. Enjoy!

The race track cake.

another angle (I am pretty proud of this!)

This is Colin's reaction to the cake when he woke up from his nap. He really liked it. (Phew!)

Colin with his gifts.

Just getting started... And to think this is just from us, Grandma and Grandpa Jones, and "the Bruces." :)

I love Molly's face on this one. I think she was more excited about the glove than Colin was. Hmmm, birthday idea??? :)

The remote control car from Allen, Jill and the kids was a huge hit! (And we haven't even put batteries in the remote yet!!) Colin won't let the car out of his site and Molly has already tried to put her doll house people in it!

We got Colin a playground ball with dinosaurs on it. He was pretty excited about that one too.

I thought Colin would be thrilled with a t-ball set. He liked it,but Molly... She was out playing with it tonight. After a little practice on the tee, she asked me to pitch to her... that girl is GOOD!

Stopping to play with what is already opened for a few minutes before continuing to open other gifts...

Grandma and Grandpa Jones sent Colin this bug catcher set. I was afraid that we wouldn't get anything else opened after this one! Both Molly and Colin were infatuated with it. (We caught a bug the other day with the net too!)

Cooperation, makes it happen, cooperation, working together...

Colin loves his balls.

Molly is such a sweet girl and good helper. She worked hard to clean things up. It was a good diversionary tactic on our part; she was getting a little too helpful in opening gifts.

Lightening McQueen pajamas - SO COOL!

Getting ready to blow out the candle.

Aren't his cheeks the cutest? I love this!

Mmm, delicious!

I think he is enjoying it. ;)
Until next time...

Funny, I was showing AJ the cake and he said "Wow, he's 8? Colin is 8?"
