the stuff of spring

Hey y'all,

We have really enjoyed this spring.  Both Molly and Colin are old enough now that they are really enjoying being outside playing, riding bikes, etc.  Molly has enjoyed soccer and we have played some in the yard.  All around, it's been a great spring so far.

Our friend Ava came over one day to play.  That was fun!

Colin, much like Molly when she first got her bike, was very frustrated that he couldn't pedal up the slope of our driveway.  He is getting better with practice.  He is almost a pro now!

We finally used the bubble wands that Grandma Jones gave us.

We have a budding photographer.  Only, we don't have any AAA batteries right now, so it's just pretend.

We went to the zoo with our friends Julia and Griffin.

The Birmingham Zoo now has an elephant.

We saw the toucan for the first time this trip.

The zoo has a splash pad.  It was too chilly to play in the water, but that didn't stop the kids from watching the water.  As soon as it would spray up, they would get up and run screaming towards us.  It was pretty funny.

As you can see, we have had a fun filled spring.
