Hey y'all,
Aren't you proud of me?!?! It's just the day after her birthday and I am posting to the blog. Yeah, I'm good! :) Molly's birthday was spectacular. She really had a great day. We actually celebrated a little over the weekend. She took cupcakes for snack after her soccer game. She loved all of her gifts; she really made out!
The cupcakes for soccer snack. If you can't tell, it's butterflies on top.
First gift, books! We let her open one gift before Michael left for work. She read one of the books in this series from the library and loved them. She is excited to read more of them.
An artist's palette cake for our little artist.
She likes it!
Molly's birthday dinner was tortellini. Yum!
Molly and her stash. Special shout out to Momma Jones... see the newspaper wrapping paper? That's right out of her play book! ;)
A new doll from Grandma and Grandpa McCann. Molly has named her Kristen.
She LOVES her. The really cool part is that you can buy clothes for the doll that have matching outfits for Molly. Fun!
Opening - she had A LOT to open!
Birthday Barbie
This expression is, "Matching outfits, one for me and one for the doll! Wow! This is awesome!"
Colored pens from Grandma and Grandpa Jones
Cool scrapbook from Gma and Gpa Jones
Gifts from Uncle Ben and Aunt Elizabeth
Sunglasses! Side note, we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the outfits from Uncle Ben and Aunt Elizabeth. Aunt Elizabeth has incredible taste!
This expression says, "It's cursive, I can't read it." Michael told her to read the card. Oh, and if you aren't sure, it's from Ben Jones. ;)
I LOVE this face! Michael and I got her a ton of scrapbooking stuff. She was just getting the picture here. This is her very own corner rounder. She loves that she has her very own stuff!
These smiles made my day! It's such a high to know you've made your kids smile like this!
The most exciting gift was double sided tape. Molly has been asking for double sided tape for months. She loves the stuff!
Look at her eyes! They scream excitement!
Her very own "real" scrapbook!
Pretty paper
A new dress
Another new dress
She opened this and said, "This store is just for boys!" (Brooks Brothers)
It contained the outfit she wore for her birthday pictures at Target today.
She got a gift certificate for The Scrapbook Princess.
I also gave her a huge stack of pictures to scrapbook.
She got flowers from Gma and Gpa McCann. That was exciting!
6 candles on the cake
Happy Birthday to you!
Blowing out the candles
Enjoying her cake and ice cream
This is what she wore for pictures today. Oh, and that's Kristen. :)
The bows in her hair are from Uncle Ben and Aunt Elizabeth. They matched perfectly. Molly had a great idea of wearing them today.
Practicing posing!
Molly's birthday was very special and full of smiles. I feel like we hit a home run on the gifts. That makes me smile!
Until next time...
