Michael and I went to Charleston for our anniversary. It was nice to get away, just us.
We took a walk through a swamp area and on our way back to the car encountered this snake. I have to admit, I was a bit scared at the way it watched us.
The hotel made this cake for us. And, if you can believe it, we didn't eat much of it because it was (gasp, can it be?) too chocolatey.
We went into this really beautiful church. The windows were amazing. And, even better, there was a pipe organ and a man was practicing for Sunday service. Michael LOVED it. :)
We dressed up and went out for a nice dinner.
After dinner, we had dessert at a cupcake bakery. This cupcake was SO good.
We also got to play mini-golf. So fun!
We had a wonderful time and are so thankful for Bonnie and Mike who came down to keep the kids.
