McCann visit

Hey y'all,

When the McCann's (Mike, Bonnie and Kelly) came down to visit, we had a birthday celebration for Molly and a little for Colin too. :)  We also went to the zoo and even went swimming, well sort of...  It was a fun time!

Molly's special princess cake

Our little princess! :)

Aunt Kelly got Molly and Colin the coolest gift!  It is personalized M&M's!  They have their picture on them and a message.  So cool!

This was probably Molly's number one gift!  Workbooks!  She was thrilled when she opened them.  She rushed to her room and started working right away!  I had to remind her that there were other gifts to open.  It reminds me of when I would beg my teachers for any extra worksheets to take home. :)

Colin got a few gifts too, from Aunt Kelly.  In addition to the M&M's, she got each of the kids books on CD.  They LOVE them.  Colin has listened to at least one story every day!

Molly's books on cd.

Molly had opened enough of this gift at this point to see it was a game.  She got Guess Who? from grandma and grandpa McCann.  She loves it!  The best part is that I love that game too, so I don't mind playing with her. ;)

We took this carnivore to the zoo.

We took the train ride.  Molly wanted to sit in the front and Colin wanted to sit in the back, so we had to split up. I didn't get a pic of Molly. :(

This is just proof that we did see a few animals...

Bonnie got the kids t-shirts while we were at the zoo.  Colin wanted to wear his right away.  On the way out of the zoo, there was a fire truck that kids could climb in.  Colin thought it was pretty cool.

It was hot outside, but the pool water was FREEZING!  It didn't matter to Molly and Colin.  They were ready to go, goggles and all.  Don't they look funny?!?!

Bathing Beauty!

Molly is getting braver each time she is in the pool.  Here she was walking the width of the pool, all by herself without holding on to anything.  Hopefully we will get her and Colin into swimming lessons this summer.

The visit was busy, but lots of fun!

Until next time...
