A couple of weeks ago, we went to Amelia Island, Florida. This was Michael's birthday present. We enjoyed being at the beach! Even though it was a pretty quick trip, we managed to have a lot of fun!

Molly is never very sure about the water. Each time we have been to the beach, she has always had to "warm-up" to it. She was so funny here. She kept walking down to the water, getting her feet barely wet and then sprinting back up to our chairs.

Colin in the "shower" pool. The kid's pool was a shallow pool with various sprayers. As soon as Colin saw it he started calling it the shower pool because the water was coming down like a shower. He's so clever! And, of course, the name stuck!

If you ask Colin to make a sad face, this is what you get! No one else can be sad when Colin is... we are too busy laughing at his funny sad face!

We had a really fun time celebrating Michael's birthday. The kids loved being at the beach and being able to swim. It was certainly nice to get away.
