Colin had a fantastic birthday! As I type, he is fast asleep. He had an eventful and exciting day! I can't believe my baby is 3!!! Time flies! He was very happy to have Grandpa McCann here to help him celebrate. And of course, he was thrilled when he saw all of his presents. He certainly made out well!! :)
Colin told me he wanted a Mickey Mouse cake. I thought YIKES! This is what I came up with. I was pretty pleased with how it turned out. He liked it, and that is really all that matters!
We allowed him to open one gift before we went to lunch. He got the Cars soundtrack. He was lovin it! We took it in the car when we went to IHOP for his b-day lunch. We think it's funny that he asked to go there for his birthday. The kid LOVES pancakes!

This has got to be the coolest radio I have ever seen! Colin always tried to listen to music on Molly's cd player, but she doesn't like that. Now, he has one of his own, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa McCann.

We had a great day! The weather was beautiful, we had a great lunch, Colin enjoyed his gifts and we had great cake and ice cream. I'd call it a huge success!
