Lake Hope

Hey y'all,
This year's trip to Lake Hope was eventful, to say the least.  But, much fun was had!!  A big thanks to everyone who helped to clothe me and my children, so we could play in the snow. :)  I know Colin loved every minute he spent in the snow, and well, Molly enjoyed everything too, mostly.  It depends on when you ask her about each individual activity.  Sometimes she loves it, other times, well, she "hates" it!  (Wishy-washy already and not even a teen!  Heaven help us!!!)  :)

Colin and Jackson - Colin was SO excited to see his cousins.

Molly was thrilled to get to hold Nina.  (Even though she thought she would be more stylish! Inside joke!)  I was thrilled to finally meet my almost 1 yo niece!!

Let the snow fly!

Colin was quite the hiker.  Molly was too, but she lead the pack, so I didn't get pics of her.

Part of our hiking group.

It was a pretty strenuous hike, especially for a 2 yo with short legs.  Here, Colin stopped to rest a minute and decided he needed to make a snow angel.

The same day we took the hike, we went sledding as well.  I don't know how Molly did it!  I was so tired from the hike, I couldn't even make it up the hill.  (I was wearing boots that were about 2 sizes too big, and I have a feeling that was part of it.)  The hill was so steep!  Every seemed to have a lot of fun.

My Uncle Pat's dog (a Malamute) pulled a few of the younger kids on a sled.  It was pretty awesome.

Here's Molly, flying down the hill.

Ahh, "green stuff"...

I am so glad the "young 'uns" love it as much as we all do.  Hopefully Grandma will continue to make it for us all!

Nina opening her Christmas present from us.  Finally!! :)

Now it's the boys' turn.

My beautiful niece, who let me love on her.  Well, a little bit anyway. :)  She's an independent little thing!!  But, I had fun talking with her and playing with her that night.

All the kids... a rarity to have them all together.  What a good looking bunch!!

Until next time...
