Christmas was fun this year. We were able to have nice family time on Christmas morning. We opened gifts, ate breakfast, talked to Grandma and Grandpa McCann on the webcam and talked to Grandma Jones on the phone. The kids had a blast with all their new things and Michael and I had fun seeing them enjoy everything. Most importantly, we took time before the craziness began to read the story of the birth of Jesus from Molly's Bible. We hope all of you had as nice a Christmas as we did!
Our tree and the goods!
Molly woke up at her normal time -- too early!! I love the puffy-eyed excitement.
Let the opening begin.
Molly loves her new Snow White ornament.
And, her new "slipper shoes," as she calls them. (They are really lined crocs, well, lined, fake crocs!)
Colin loves his new Cars magnet game.
Molly didn't waste any time creating on the new easel. She is quite the budding artist.
The McCann's sent the kids bean bag chairs. They are awesome! They are very big, but the info that came with them said that they are overfilled to allow for settling. As of now, we have to set Colin up on his!!
Molly has a thing for glitter glue.
Molly sporting her new "country girl" shirt and relaxing on her new bean bag chair.
All in all, we had a fantastic Christmas. We spent the rest of the day readying for our trip up north. It's amazing how heavy the suitcases are with all the heavy clothing we have to pack! ;)
Until next time...
