The kids and I tried to go to a movie this morning. Regal Cinemas has free movies during the summer on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Today they were showing The Tale of Despereaux. We were excited and had even decided to get popcorn. Well, that was our mistake! We waited in a line that didn't move for about 15 minutes and finally decided to make popcorn at home later and just see the movie. Well, I can't know for sure, but I think that 15 minutes cost us seeing the movie. By the time we got in line, the theaters were full. We could have seen another movie they offered, but I didn't know anything about it and wasn't sure it would be appropriate for Molly and Colin. So, life handed us lemons and we decided to make lemonade! At first we tried to get a hold of Michael and see if he could meet us for a special lunch, but he was in meetings all day. So we decided to head home and have a picnic lunch in the living room with popcorn and a movie. Molly thought it was funny that we were eating on a blanket on the floor. Colin was just excited about the popcorn! :)
It was great fun! We watched Finding Nemo, ate lunch and popcorn and then snuggled on the couch. Definitely lemonade!!! :)
