Independence Day/ Weekend

Hey y'all,

We went to Nashville for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary and Independence Day. Bonnie and Mike surprised us by coming down too. It was great fun and could easily become a tradition! The only draw back was the storm during the fireworks. Maybe next year...

Little Miss Pouty!

This was "Mom, I really want to see fireworks!" Unfortunately, it was raining and we weren't even sure if they were going to be able to set them off.

They did set them off, but an hour and a half early!! We ran out (in the rain) of the hotel and down the block a bit. We were able to see through a small window made by the buildings. It wasn't ideal, but it made memories, right?

Colin thought it was hilarious that he got wet. Molly on the other hand... she DOES NOT like the rain!

Here are our cherubs snuggled up in the hotel robes trying to get warm after being out in the rain and coming back to a freezing hotel.

Overall, we had a great time and hope we can do it again.
