Our family Christmas

Hey All,

I hope everyone is doing well and not too cold. Here are a few pictures from our Christmas in AL. Enjoy!

Here is bike number one. See, we really have a lot to learn about bikes. This one had two issues... First, it was too big. We had "tried on" a few bikes at Wal-Mart before we went shopping. We thought she fit best on the 20" one. Well, we have since learned that that number only deals with wheels and not the frame size! Oops! So, we got this one (I thought it looked huge, but we had tried it, and she is tall, after all.) but it was humongous!! We were so wrong! But to make it worse, or maybe better because this sealed the deal for taking it back, the training wheels wouldn't fit on this bike! My fingers were practically raw from trying! So, look in the next couple of days for a new post with pictures of the new, new bike. :)
Colin's big wheel was a huge hit! He loves it. He can't quite reach the pedals yet, but it won't be long!

I knew this was something that Molly wanted for Christmas. She had seen a commercial for it. But, her reaction was priceless! She shouted, "I wanted this!" and then proceeded to hug it, as you see here. Score one for Mom and Dad! ;)

Here they are opening their stockings.

Molly got new lips. She likes them.

Colin loved both new helmets. He wore which ever one he could find all day!

Molly playing with her new doll. It is a Snap n Style doll. Really cool.

Colin got this new ramp garage from the McCann's. We opened it at our house though because it was so big. Bonnie had it shipped here and they watched him open it on the web cam. He loves it!

The beloved octopus play doh set.

Molly's new doll house. Like the ramp garage, this one was from the McCann's. We opened it while talking to them on the web cam as well. Both Molly and Colin like playing with it!

Here is our stylin' girl! She was so funny about wearing the pads. The best is when she walks in them! Hilarious! She kind of waddles instead of bending her knees.

This was one of the biggest favorites! They played with the train ALL afternoon. We had to institute turn taking with time limits, but they had a blast!
Check again soon, I have some pictures of the kids playing outside. We will debut the new, new bike. (Which is princess, much to my chagrin, but much better than the other choices! Like "Major flirt"! Seriously, we are talking 16" bikes here! What preschooler needs a bike that says Major Flirt all over it?!?!)
Until next time...
