more pictures, finally

Hey all,
We hope everything is great in Ohio. Things are going well here. We are anxious to see all of you that have plans to come visit. If you don't have plans yet, you are always welcome. Go ahead and make those plans. Just let us know in advance so we can make a chain for you too! Below are some pictures of Molly, Colin and me making the links for the LONG chain. There are a few pictures of the chain stretched across our cabinets too. Sorry Mom, I know you said not to put dumb stuff up there. However, I don't have enough Amish baskets yet. You will just have to bring me some! :)

It really annoys me, but I can't figure out how to rearrange the pictures once I upload them. I can only upload 5 at a time, so I have a hard time getting them in the order I want. Bear with me please. Also, if anyone has any ideas on how to do it, do tell!

Here is a very silly girl. I picked this picture though, not because of her face, but because of her hair. Notice her hair and read this little story...
Colin got his hair cut a couple of weeks ago. Molly wanted her hair cut too. I told her I would cut it if she wanted. She said okay. Well, Michael proceeds to tell her that I would cut it short like Colin's. She freaked out and said she didn't want her hair cut. I asked her why and she said because she would look like a boy. I told her I wouldn't cut it that short and let it drop. A few days later she again said she wanted her hair cut. I said okay, how short? She immediately changed her mind with a resounding NO! Again, a few days later, she wants her hair cut. She told me she wanted it like mine. I said okay. We can do it when we get home. Then, NO! It went on like this. Today, I said something about getting her hair cut today and she said okay, when I am watching my show. (I didn't get her logic, but I went with it.) She said again that she wanted it like mine and even pointed to her shoulders. So, I cut it. However, I ALWAYS forget that hers bounces so much. I didn't cut all that much, but it looks WAY shorter because of her curl. I told her it was a little shorter than mine, but really cute. She said (very astutely, I thought!) So, I look like Abigail? I said kind of. I sent her to look and she comes back crying!! She didn't like it! I was sad for her, but laughing at the same time. I told her it was okay; I think she looks beautiful; Daddy will like it; and, it will grow back and we will remember not to cut it so short the next time. She was comforted, but wasn't thrilled to have her picture taken! Hence the following...

So sad about her hair!

So, I started saying silly things like pickle feet and pizza breath. I made her laugh. :)

She took this picture all by herself. She is starting to like it, I think.

The good thing is, out of the blue, as I was tucking her in for her nap, she says to me, I like my hair cut now. Phew! Bottom line, I think she is adorable! :) If only my hair would flip under like that on it's own!

Here we are at Dr. Hively's office (the eye doctor) for Molly's follow up appointment. I was so pleased that her cornea was 100% healed.

What is with kids that they want to remove couch cushions. No matter how many times I tell them, they still take them off! I think it is very uncomfortable without the cushions! Also, I thought the older child was supposed to be the teacher?!? Colin definitely taught this time!

Don't you just love this t-shirt? "Dirt. It does the body good."

Molly did a great job decorating. She drew pictures on some, and on others she wrote "words". It was great!

Colin ate crayons more than he decorated. He did color several links though. He thought he was so big! I eventually had to make him get down. All the crayons were soggy!

After I made Colin get down, he tried on shoes. The boy LOVES shoes. It doesn't matter what they look like; obviously! Aunt Martha and the girls can attest to the fact that he will wear any shoes. When they were here, he was wearing Molly's pretty princess dress up shoes!

There is no doubt that MK is my neice after all the funny faces she takes in pictures... and the fact that she has an obsession with taking pictures of herself!! haha!!!! Plus I love her hair! So beautiful, but then, I like shorter hair over longer hair. Thats just me...
I can't believe how big Colin has gotten since we were there in September. Ugh... he better be working on my name. :)
I wonder if you break some extra links if that means time will be go faster and we can come sooner... I doubt that this will work but, its worth a shot right?!
