I am going to try something new this year. Blogging has become somewhat of a burden for me, due to loading issues I have explained before. So, to "fix" the problem, I am going to try to blog one picture a day. (Understand that this is a goal. It may not actually be one a day, especially when we are out of town and such.) Hopefully, this will be a nice change as it will give you a look at our every day life rather than just big events. With that, there most likely will be larger posts scattered throughout of the bigger event. (Like our Disney trip!)
To start our year, I would like to share a bit about our New Year's Eve party adventures...
We had a party! We had a few snacks. We played games. We had a toast with sparkling grape juice. And, we let the kids stay up as long as they could. (Molly was out by 10:30 and Colin was out at 10:45.) We decided to have a slumber party in the living room. (I went to my bed because I had to teach Sunday School the next morning!) Michael slept on the air mattress, Molly slept on the couch, and Colin slept in his bean bag chair. The kids thought it was great, but if the grouchiness the next morning was any indication, I'm not sure we've started a new family tradition!
