Labor Day Extended

Hey y'all,

We had guests here in Alabama for the Labor Day weekend. Bonnie and Kelly flew down the Wednesday before and stayed through Labor Day. We celebrated Kelly's birthday, (It was August 24.) took in a Braves game, watch planes, and relaxed at Reynold's Plantation. If we ever get rich, we will become season ticket holders at Turner Field! We had a blast! Colin kept asking to go back. He can yell "CHARGE" with the best of them, do the Tomahawk Chop and cheer like he's been rooting for years! Of course, Molly is not outdone! She did all of the above and even got into the wave. We had a blast! We decided the next time we head to a game and all wear our McCann shirts we are going to bring a poster that says "4 McCanns 4 McCann." Hey, maybe it would get us on TV! :) Enjoy all the pictures.

Colin insisted on helping Grandma with her orange suitcase. Such a helper!

It didn't take long for the girls in the back to start singing Taylor Swift.

Kelly showing off her new jewelries, our birthday gift to her.

Michael was in charge of getting the writing on the cake. Kelly just decided to play the part! :)

Colin sporting his new slippers. He LOVES them!

Colin with Homer. He was a bit nervous...

My Braves

I think baseball fields are beautiful! We were excited to see Tim Hudson pitch his first home game after coming back from surgery. He did very well.

Braves beauties? Well, I know one is anyway!

Molly looking chic in Kelly's gigantic sunglasses.

The McCann boys, watching planes.

Grandma, Molly and Colin McCann

Watching planes at the airport hotel never gets old for Colin. I think he would live there!

Excited to swim at Reynold's Plantation.

Hanging onto the "waterfall" at the infinity pool. Molly felt so big!

Colin made a friend that had pool toys. He loved this sub so much the mom offered to let him have it!

Splashing away!

Colin in the "square pool" with Grandma. The kiddie pool was "the circle pool." Colin is so smart! One of the hotel workers was talking to him about swimming later that day, she was impressed that he used the shapes as descriptors to distinguish between the pools.

Colin enjoying the BEST COOKIES EVER!

" No, I am not tired!" Molly refused to admit that she was tired after such a big day, but couldn't keep from rubbing her sleepy eyes.

We did a scavenger hunt at the hotel. Colin was checking his bag to see what he had gathered so far.

Awww, so sweet. :)

Making s'mores.

Yummm... Molly enjoying her s'more.

As you can see, we had a lot of fun.

Until next time...
