the promised pictures and more

Hey all,

We are doing well here. Some of you are aware of this already, but Michael is applying for a promotion. It's a pretty big deal. I am proud of him that after just 5 months he is being told by upper management to apply for this position. I think that says a lot. Please keep him in your prayers as he goes through this process.

The only other new news is that I finally determined that all of Colin's issues lately do stem from teeth, but not in the capacity that I thought. I have been looking and looking for the incisors to break through. They are white a bit, but nothing else. I was beginning to think that there was steel in his gums until tonight. I was brushing his teeth, we do this often, but tonight he went "flip-top" on me as I was going for the top teeth and I saw it. Yes, a molar, THAT IS ALMOST ALL THE WAY THROUGH!!! I couldn't believe it. The poor guy, suffering through without the proper sympathy from his momma! What a stud, right? :)

On the Molly front... she is well. She has been very into puzzles and dress up lately. The Snow White costume (that I believe first belonged to Jessica!) is on it's last leg, so I broke down and bought her a Cinderella costume tonight. I know I have never been into the whole princess thing, but she is so cute when she pretends that Colin is her prince! She and Colin even had a wedding the other day. (Don't worry, I have photos!)

There will be a lot of photos in this one, so bare with me... I am not going to try to post all the pictures from the Jones visit. I will try to send them out in a Kodak album for anyone who is interested. (Give me a couple of days to finish uploading them.)

Apparently Colin wasn't eating fast enough on his own...

Molly and Colin talking to Grandma and Grandpa McCann on the webcam. Everyone should get one of these. It's so fun!

This was on a day that his teeth were really hurting... and yes, I was just looking in the front and still felt sorry for him. He's my baby what can I say... :)

So Abigail, here is your lizard! Uncle Michael found it the morning you left on the back of our house. We were sad that you weren't there to see it. Maybe you will see one the next time you come to visit.

How cute is this? My little big man!

We went to where Great Grandma lived. This is the road sign (obviously!); her house was to the right of the sign in this picture. Of course, it looks nothing the same! It was fun to picture how everything was, in my mind and to talk it over with Dad, Mom and Allen. I am pleased to announce that my memories are correct! Hey, I was pretty little when we stayed there!

Colin and Grandma -- Boy did he have her! But then again, I think she had him snowed too! He wanted her for everything! What's a momma to do!?!?

This goofy girl LOVES lemons. She was rather entertaining as we waited for our food at the Golden Rule.

Okay, so I know I said I had pictures of the "wedding." And, I do. They are on my camera, but everytime I try to upload them from the camera to the computer, they aren't there. Well, they are still on my camera, I can see them, but the computer tells me that there are no new files. HELP!!! They are too cute to lose! Maybe I will figure it out and be able to post them yet. Otherwise I will have to take my card to Walmart and you will have to visit to see the prints. :) (I promise this isn't a scheme! I am as frustrated as you are!)
