the bedding dilema and stuff

We are surviving "Fay." We have had a LOT of rain and it was very windy last night and this morning. We were awaken (rather rudely, I think) by the weather radio at about 2:30 this morning with a tornado watch, but thankfully nothing came of it. We are expected to continue getting rain until Thursday, however, we are staying dry.

We have been invited to be a part of a small group in our church. It is a little intimidating... they have been meeting for a while and, the pastor leads the group. (He invited us. Pretty cool, huh?) :) One neat thing is that it is at the house of the guy that sold us our house! I personally believe that God had a hand in all this. We will keep you posted on how it goes.

We got new bedding. (This is a big deal to me!) I am posting pictures of it because I know some of you will really wonder about it. The quilt is reversible. I think I know what I like best, but I am asking for a vote from all of you. So post your thoughts on the comments. Oh, and I am throwing in a picture of the new shower curtain, just for fun. It matches perfectly and we didn't even buy it at the same store! Hooray for us!

Current Molly-isms are...

  • ferajer = refrigerator -- I called it the fridge the other day and Molly corrected me.

  • skills (as in "I got skills.") = Skittles -- Molly kept asking for "skills" and finally I realized that she wanted Skittles!

  • itsy pitsies = Reese Pieces -- Again, Molly was asking for the candy.

Colin is definitely teething again. Mom and I decided that it is his incisors. Pray that it will be easy for him. I am tired of gross diapers, runny noses and biting... oh, and the whining! Lots of whining!

Until next time...

Okay so when I talked to you on the phone yesterday I totally thought I would go for the brown... but I love the blue!! I'll have to see it in person for my final answer (4 sleeps!) But... as of right now I'm loving the blue.
I'll post pictures tonight of my ziplining. There are no "action" shots but... you get to see my looking 500 pounds in my harness and safety hat... awesome. just awesome!

Emily - Next time I speak with Molly on the phone I will teach her more about candy. Of course, I am the Queen of candy! Love it!
